The history of the future in cutouts from pulp scifi magazine covers. A retro-romantic memory of the future. During a performance of 23 minutes, the viewer is immersed in multiple projections accompanied by soundscapes.
The images used are taken from pulp scifi magazine covers, drawn by illustrator Johnny Bruck (1921-1995), and photographed by Reinhold Bogaard on 35mm film. Images are projected simultaneously on 4 surfaces, including the ceiling showing rotating space scenes through a rotating dove prism.
The soundscapes are composed by Tobias Heemskerk and combine perfectly with the visual experience.

February 2020, an adapted version of Space Adventure was performed. Projection reduced to the Pulp Vision Machine showing rotating images with sound mixed from two Open Reel recorders combining the soundtrack by Inofaith with Apollo 11 communications from NASA Archives.

De geschiedenis van de toekomst in uitsnedes van pulp scifi magazine covers. Een retro romantische herinnering van de toekomst. Gedurende een voorstelling van 23 minuten wordt de toeschouwer ondergedompeld in een meervoudige projectie begeleid door soundscapes. Het gebruikte beeldmateriaal is ontleend aan pulp scifi magazine covers, getekend door illustrator Johnny Bruck (1921-1995), en gefotografeerd door Reinhold Bogaard op 35mm film.
Op 4 vlakken worden gelijktijdig beelden geprojecteerd, o.a. op het plafond met ronddraaiende ruimtescènes via een roterend omkeerprisma.
De soundscapes zijn gecomponeerd door Tobias Heemskerk en combineren perfect met de visuele ervaring.
