This riso print was specially made for exhibition in De Aanschouw. Exhibited next to café De Hensepeter in the centre of Rotterdam, this context called for a witty commentary on the zeitgeist. The work fits in with the current era of ‘clear language’. It is about the semantics of concepts such as clarity and purity and the appearance of unambiguity that is created with them.

Deze risoprint is speciaal gemaakt voor expositie in De Aanschouw. Tentoongesteld naast cafe De Hensepeter in het centrum van Rotterdam vroeg deze context om een gevat commentaar op de huidige tijdgeest. Het werk past in het huidige tijdgewricht van ‘klare taal’. Het handelt om de semantiek van begrippen als helderheid en zuiverheid en de schijn van duidelijkheid die ermee geschapen wordt.
